Our travels often take us to mountain towns, state parks, campgrounds, and pet-friendly destinations throughout the Southeast. We enjoy finding family-friendly attractions, beautiful hiking trails, unique places to stay, and experiences that welcome four-legged travelers.

No adventure would be complete without our miniature schnauzer, Angel!
As dog owners, we know that traveling with a pet takes extra planning and preparation. From researching pet-friendly campgrounds and vacation rentals to packing medications, food, and travel essentials, we’ve learned a lot along the way.
Angel has been part of our travels almost from the beginning. We brought her home when she was about eight weeks old, and within her first week with us, she joined us on her first camping trip. Since then, traveling with her has become a normal part of how our family plans road trips, camping weekends, vacation rentals, and mountain getaways.
Our schnauzer is not just a pet—she’s a member of the family and an important part of every trip we take.
Traveling with Angel has changed the way we plan our vacations. From choosing pet-friendly accommodations and hiking trails to packing allergy medications and researching local pet policies, she influences nearly every travel decision we make.
